📖 HOW TO PLAY — TEXAS HOLD'EM
▼ SHOW
🎯 THE GOAL
Make the best 5-card hand using any combination of your 2 hole cards and the 5 community cards on the table. Win the pot — all the chips everyone bet.
💰 BLINDS
Before cards are dealt, the two players left of the dealer (D) must post forced bets:
Small Blind = half the minimum bet
Big Blind = full minimum bet
This seeds the pot so there's always something to win.
Small Blind = half the minimum bet
Big Blind = full minimum bet
This seeds the pot so there's always something to win.
🃏 HOW A HAND PLAYS OUT
1. PRE-FLOP
Everyone gets 2 secret cards (hole cards). First betting round happens. You can fold, call the blind, or raise.
2. THE FLOP
3 community cards are revealed face-up in the center. Everyone can use them. Second betting round.
3. THE TURN
1 more card revealed (4 total). Another betting round. Your hand is getting clearer.
4. THE RIVER
Final 5th card revealed. Last betting round. This is your last chance to bluff or go big.
5. SHOWDOWN
If 2+ players remain, everyone shows their cards. Best 5-card hand wins the pot!
🕹️ YOUR ACTIONS

CALL
Match the current bet to stay in the hand. You must call or raise to see the next card.
RAISE
Increase the bet. Forces others to call your amount or fold. Shows strength (or a bluff!).

💡 BEGINNER TIPS
Start tight. Only play hands where both hole cards are strong — like pairs (AA, KK, QQ), or high cards of the same suit (A♠K♠).
Watch the community cards. Three cards of the same suit on the flop? Someone might have a flush. Pair on the board? Someone might have trips.
Position matters. Acting last (closest to the dealer) is a huge advantage — you see what everyone else does before you decide.
Don't be afraid to fold. Folding a bad hand early saves chips for a better opportunity. It's not weakness — it's strategy.
